Mr. Politician,
I am voting for you. Please note it on your mailing list and save the stamp, the costs of literature, and all the campaigning costs associated with constantly blanketing me with your materials. I even send a monthly donation to help support your efforts. It isn’t much, but it is what I can afford. There is nothing extra I can scratch away from the gas and light company, house payment, or give from the grocery budget. If the tires go on one of the cars, you may have to fend for yourself for a few months. So rather than use my money to send me letters, billings, and advertising asking for me to do more for you, why don’t you trust that I have your back and go forth and try to use the funds to target new blood?
If you still have my mailing address, I am not pulling for those nuts on the other side, and I am in your corner. If you compare address lists and notice someone missing, those are the ones you should target. Better yet, target the other side; those people can be swayed; offer them a hat and a free bag of chips. They will vote for you for life.
